Upper Campus
In September 2005, Archway moved 5th-8th grade students to the Upper Campus in Berkeley. Located on Virginia Street near Shattuck Avenue and the University of California, Archway's Upper Campus facility boasts a gymnasium, multi-media lab, sun-lit art room, large science lab and spacious classrooms.
Designed by Todd Jersey Architecture, the building also features natural daylight for all spaces, passive solar heating, passive natural ventilation, and radiant floor heating in all of the rooms. The campus is near a large neighborhood park where our students often go for lunch or outdoor P.E. classes.
