Fundraising Activities
I wish to express to all of you my deep appreciation for the truly awesome educational environment that you provide at Archway. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the progress my child has made this year under your tutelage. Indeed, I don't think it can be quantified!
Fundraising at Archway is an integral element of our budget. Annual Fund contributions bridge the gap between tuition and our actual costs of preparing our students to be learners for life. Income from our fundraising events helps pay for performing and visual arts programs, facilities improvements, tuition assistance and classroom program enhancements.
Walkathon
Each October Archway hosts its annual walkathon. Students and families are asked to solicit pledges on a per lap or flat rate bases. On event day students will walk laps to earn incentive prizes and raise money for special programs.
Spring Raffle/Auction
In the Spring Archway conducts its Annual Raffle and Auction. The selling of raffle tickets by students begins in March. Students are traditionally asked to sell a minimum of 10 books. The culmination of the raffle is the Spring Auction in which parents attend a social gathering where everyone has a chance to purchase fabulous items, trips, and services. Proceeds from the Spring Raffle/Auction have traditionally funded Archway’s tuition assistance program.
