Why do I need to support the Annual Giving Campaign?
While tuition establishes the foundation for excellence, it does not cover the full cost of an Archway School education. A contribution to the Annual Giving Campaign benefits each and every student at Archway, bridging the gap between the actual cost to educate each student and what you pay in tuition.

What is my contribution used for?
Contributions to the Annual Giving Campaign ensure the continued health, success, and growth of the school. Among other benefits, your gifts allow Archway to maintain small class size, diversity, and provide engaging, high-quality, individualized education. This year donors can request that up to half of their donation be used toward tuition assistance or arts programming.

Why can I only designate half of my donation?
Traditionally donations to the Annual Giving Campaign are unrestricted which allows the school to meet operating expenses not paid by tuition. Fulfilling this gap is still the primary goal of the Annual Giving Campaign.

What is the gap and how much is it?
The gap is the difference between the actual cost to educate each student and what you pay in tuition. This number varies each year based on enrollment. For the 2011-2012 school year, the gap is $3,000 per student.

How much should I give?
Only you can determine the amount that is right for your family. We encourage you to consider the impact your gift will make, to realize the value of your donation in providing an exceptional school experience for our students, and to make your gift a personally meaningful one. The only disappointing gift is no gift at all.Why is 100% participation so important? High participation is a vote of confidence and a sign that our community supports Archway’s mission. This percentage also has an impact on gifts from outside sources; foundations consider parent participation rates before agreeing to donate funds to a school.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Yes. Unlike tuition payments, your contributions to the Annual Giving Campaign are 100% tax-deductible.

What is pledging?
Pledging allows you to make a gift that you pay over time during the school year.

Can I use my credit card to make a gift?
